We proudly present
THE SPIEGEL SWING-HOP
Wednesday 12 May 7.30pm to 1.00am
The Correspondents, swing-beat extraordinaires, playing hip hop from the 1930s, with some nifty turntablism and eccentric vaudevillian dancing.
Dublin-based genius DJ Kormac plays a scratch dub set mixed with haunting retro samples to stunning swing ’n’ bass effect.
And Ida Barr, purveyor of ‘artificial hip hop’ and spangly frocked veteran music-hall icon, drops some rhymes about the topics that really matter.
Dress Fancy “Retro-Electro”
Think Space Race, 1930’s Sci-fi or Future 50’s – anything from the Jetsons to Metropolis, I guess even Barbarella would fit! Past meets future.
Tickets on sale now and selling fast just £15 from Festival Box Office
Music – swing meets electronica and hip-hop
THE SPIEGEL SHAKE-UP

a firm Bo Nanafana favourite. Also, Paul Zenon, Britain’s oldest juvenile delinquent who will be performing his own brand of street-style magic played for laughs and stand-up comedy with tricks and our very own DJ Lornegerie.

Remember both nights will also feature walkabout and sideshows from local acts. Plus DJ’s and curiousities.
We have just finished programming our Bo Nanafana Spiegel Lates, with talent from “around these parts” playing on THE best stage in Norwich – look out for the Spiegel Programme which should be flapping its way round Norwich in the next week or so.
